Share a moment - a secret

For the last six months I’ve been asking Copenhageners one simple question.

What is a moment from your life that happened in this city?

Not a recommendation.

Not a hidden café.

A real story.

The kind of moment that stays with you.

A first kiss.

A phone call that changed everything.

The day you arrived in Copenhagen.

Or the day you knew you had to leave.

Each story is connected to a place in the city — sometimes an ordinary street corner, a bench, a building you pass every day.

Places that mean nothing to most people.

But everything to the person who lived the moment.

Over the past six months, locals — Danes and expats alike — have shared these stories with me.

Together they form a different kind of map of Copenhagen.

Not a tourist map.

A human map.

These stories are now becoming part of a new experience where visitors explore Copenhagen through the life moments of the people who live here.

But I’m still collecting stories.

So if there is a moment in your life connected to this city —and a place where it happened —

I would love to hear it.

Share moments, not monuments.
